SURFACE PREPARATION
- Remove all porosity, porous concrete, excess mortar that adheres to the surface.
- Clean grease, dirt, mold, cement water, .. off the surface with high pressure water or iron brush combined with detergent.
- Fill the chisel (if any) with concrete repair mortar or other suitable methods.
- Moisten the surface to saturation with clean water before applying WelFlex 801.
- Absorbent surfaces must be completely saturated, free of standing water before applying the first coat of Welflex 801.
HOW TO MIX:
- Under normal circumstances, when all two components are mixed together, an oily paste is formed. Mix in a clean container, slowly add the powder ingredients to the liquid ingredients and stir with a low speed mixer (approximately 500 rpm) stirring until the mixture is uniform (about 3 to 4 minutes). . 5% clean water can be added to the mixture to apply to hygroscopic or dry surfaces.
CONSTRUCTION:
- Use a paint brush or roller to apply WelFlex 801 on the surface to be waterproofed., It is recommended to cover the surface with at least 2 layers to optimize the waterproofing ability.
Apply the first coat while the surface is still damp.
- Proceed to apply the second layer when the first layer has tightened the surface in a direction perpendicular to the first layer
- WelFlex 801 must be used up within 90 minutes of mixing.
MAINTENANCE WORK:
- Usually not necessary, but precautions should be taken if applying in direct sunlight or in a windy location.
- WelFlex 801 waterproofing membrane after construction should be protected from mechanical and physical impacts that may cause tearing or perforation.
TOILET:
- Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be cleaned by mechanical means.
STORAGE & STORAGE:
- WelFlex 201 is kept for 12 months from the date of manufacture when in its original condition and properly maintained.
- Storage and preservation: Store in a cool, dry place.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
- Prevention: WelFlex 801's component B has cement-based properties, so it contains alcohol, causing mild skin irritation for people with sensitive skin. Wear gloves and a mask while handling the product.
